Anxiety is the emotional reaction to a known external threat or danger. It’s a feeling of fear and uneasiness which causes the person to sweat, feel restless and tense. it can be a normal reaction to stress which helps you to cope from stress but for some people , the fear is not temporary and it can be over whelming. with normal levels, anxiety can be beneficial and improves performance but it is considered pathological when it becomes abnormally severe , inappropriate and persistent.

CAUSES:

the cause is unknown. factors like genetics , stress and environment plays a role in anxiety. phobias are more common in women but men and women are affected equally with  social anxiety. Risk factors anxiety can be:

  • People who are very shy or withdrawn whenever in new situation.
  • Trauma in early childhood or adulthood
  • Family history of anxiety.
  • Thyroid or arrythmia

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY ?

  • Palpitatation
  • Changes in daily behavior like avoiding daily activities
  • Chest pain or discomfort
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sweating
  • Feeling dizzy
  • Tremors
  • diarrhea
  • Restlessness
  • Insomnia
  • Poor concentration
  • Irritability
  • Fatigue
  • Panic attacks develops abruptly , reaches the peak over 10 minutes and lasts for 5-30 minutes. A panic attack is a period of intense anxiety not related to any particular situation or circumstances.

WHAT ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF ANXIETY DISORDERS?

Anxiety can occur under deferent disorders . these include:

PHOBIA : experiencing excessive fear or dander from a specific activity, object or situation

PANIC DISORDER : Panic attacks occurs abruptly and can reccur at any time or situation

POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER : it occurs after an traumatic event.

SEPARATION ANXIETY DISORDER:  Fear of being away from your loved ones can cause anxiety too.

SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER : Extreme fear of being judged by others in social situations.

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER: Recurring irrational thoughts hat leads you to prform specific repeated behaviors

WHAT ARE THE HOME REMEDIES FOR ANXIETY?

Anxiety can be eliminated by changing your lifestyles  participating in healthy activities.

  • Take proper rest and get enough sleep
  • Meditation
  • Do exercise regularly and stay active
  • Quit smoking cigarettes
  • Avoid excess alcohol

 

AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR ANXIETY

1. VATA BALANCE TABLET:

Vata balance tablet is a rejuvenating blend of herbs is specially formulated to balance Vata doshas without aggravating Pitta or Kapha doshas. This syrup is prepared from the extract of various herbs that deal with the delusion, hallucination, disorganized behavior, lack of emotions, & inappropriate posture, etc. The syrup is prepared from herbs such as Shankhpushpi, Brahmi, Jatamansi, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Saunf. These herbs show antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immuno-modulator, & mind relaxant properties.

Recommended Dosage – Take 2 teaspoonful twice daily.

 

3. STRESS CARE TABLET:

It is an amazing combination of natural herbs like Sarpgandha, Brahmi, Tagar, jatamansi. It helps to relieve stress conditions. They help to pacify the nervous system and also help to increase mental and physical performance. In Ayurveda when there is an imbalance of three energies i.e. Vata, pitta, and Kapha, it leads to disease. Vata has a sub dosha named prana doshas which regulates the sensory perception, brain, and mind. Tarpak Kapha subtype of kapha, governs cerebrospinal fluid, sadhak pitta subtype of pitta doshas governs emotions and their impact on the heart. So any vitiation of these doshas leads to stress. 4. BRAIN RELAXANT CHURNA:

5. MANN MITRA TABLET:

Mann Mitra tablet is herbal and purely ayurvedic medicine. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment for psychiatric conditions and help to balance all the three doshas of body i.e vata, pitta, kapha. CAC Mann Mitra tablet improves intelligence and speech problems. It is helpful for making the nervous system strong and nerves as well.
